Our Vision

A CIRCULAR ECONOMY

How It Works

THE CIRCULAR
ECONOMY MODEL

Tourism Arrives: Visitors from around the world come to support a community-led model, not one built on top of the people who live here.

Jobs Are Created: Cooks, housekeepers, guides, farmers, spa practitioners, market vendors, and groundskeepers. Every role is filled by local community members.

Families Are Paid Well: Staff earn wages far above what is typically available locally, with benefits and on-site housing for employees and their families.

Programs Are Funded: The ecosystem supports MurphsLife programs, including the women's shelter, botanical farm, and village construction.

The Cycle Strengthens: Stable families build skills, dignity, and opportunity, and the community welcomes more visitors who believe in the same vision.

The Ecosystem

FIVE PILLARS.
ONE COMMUNITY.

Wellness & Recovery

Creates skilled local jobs for practitioners, technicians, and support staff: a community wellness center run by the people who live here.

Restaurant & Venue

Employs local chefs, servers, and event staff. Produce comes from the on-site farm, keeping every meal rooted in the community and the land.

Hotel & Bungalows

Accommodations staffed entirely by local team members. Tourism supports wages, housing, and family stability, not outside extraction.

Café & Market

A marketplace for local artisans, farmers, and producers, including coffee, honey, handmade goods, and fresh produce, creating income for surrounding families.

Farm Engine

The regenerative heart of the campus. Local farmers tend crops that feed the restaurant, stock the market, and train the next generation in sustainable agriculture.

Community Impact

LIFTING FAMILIES
OUT OF POVERTY

100% Local Employment: Every position, from kitchen to groundskeeping, is filled by a community member from Juayua and neighboring villages.

Wages Above Local Norms: Staff earn living wages with benefits, offering a real alternative to economic migration and building long-term stability for families.

On-Suite Employee Housing: Staff and their families live in homes built on the estate, stability that keeps talent rooted in the community.

Government Partnership: MurphsLife holds a partnership with ADDN, El Salvador's National Development Agency, using Casa Conejo as a training anchor for regenerative community development.

Foundation Program Funding: Surplus from the ecosystem flows into MurphsLife programs, including shelter, farm, and family sponsorship, strengthening the entire community.

Sustainable Operations: Solar power, rainwater collection, composting, and regenerative farming ensure the land is better for the next generation.
